Rep. Allen Boyd (D-FL) – His deciding principle – Money

I’ve heard the talking heads say that people would respect Democrats that are willing to stand on principle and not be moved by a mere majority of Americans. They neglect the reality that the number of Americans that reject Obamacare is considerably more than a mere majority – It is approaching the numbers that would be needed to for Constitution convention. What is this righteous principle that they are standing on?

DEAL WATCH: Boyd a “Yes” Vote on Gov’t Healthcare Takeover After His Forest Bill Passes House

Was this Yet Another Backroom Deal to Force Obama’s Bill Down the American People’s Throats?

With a vote on Obama and Pelosi’s government takeover of healthcare expected tomorrow, Rep. Alan Boyd (D-FL) finally got off the fence and announced yesterday that he would vote “yes” for the bill.

Boyd’s announcement came just days after one of his pet bills passed the House. Boyd is the sponsor of a bill, the Florida National Forest Land Adjustment Act of 2009 (H.R. 3954). The bill languished in committee after being introduced in October 2009. Suddenly, though, it received a vote Thursday in the House.

Boyd’s bill was not originally on the schedule for this week when it was released by Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) last Friday. However, Thursday it appeared on the calendar and was passed this afternoon in the full House.

Will Boyd come clean about this apparent backroom deal for his vote?

Call Boyd’s district office at (850) 561-3979 and ask.

Judas stood on the same principle – look what happened to him – not all claims of principle are righteous. Respect is only given when one stands on a solid principle that is based on solid moral law of doing what is right.

Updated: Freedom of Information or is Information now property of the Government?

As most health staff knows, Leadership and the White House are working with the AMA to rally physicians support for a full SGR repeal later this spring. However, both health and communications staff should understand that we do not want that policy discussed at this time, lest I [sic] complicate the last critical push for health reform.

Can anybody tell me why an Office which must be open to the public because of FOIA laws. Unlike a private office which does not need to be open or follow FOIA laws. Should not allow videos to be made?

This is not the same as a small business that is trying to provide a service to customers and a camera is in the way. A business would have the rent paid by the owner who also pays the employees. The business is open to the public only in the sense that they can shop around to become, the owner hopes, actual paying customers.

This Government office is paid for by tax dollars so that citizens can get information. The rent is paid for by tax dollars. The camera is there to prevent inaccuracies in reporting. And the information is there by legal requirements. It is not that we have an entitlement to access this information, it is by legal contract and citizenship that gives us standing to use what we paid for.

So why no cameras? Do they want inaccuracy, because if they wanted accuracy they would want cameras.

Via Politico: “President Obama will travel to California to stump for Sen. Barbara Boxer in April, her campaign announced on Wednesday.

Obama will attend a joint fundraiser in Los Angeles for Boxer’s re-election campaign and the DNC. Details are still being arranged.

Polls show the California Democrat with a single-digit lead over each of her three potential Republican challengers, State Sen. Chuck DeVore, former HP CEO Carly Fiorina and former Rep. Tom Campbell”

Barney Franks and contempt of the first amendment

Barney Franks says here, using his bully pulpit to launch accusations at those who disagree with President, that it is contempt of the first amendment to protest in such a way that could offend. Do you hear that code pink, Peta, Palin and Bush haters – Do you hear that News week, Moveon.org and Huffington post – Do you hear that MSNBC – Do you hear that Hollywood.

I do see contempt for the first amendment by many who support the health care Obamination, To not even allow be allowed to speak by those who they represent them; To accuse them of causing the problem, which they do not support with facts, and telling them to take a back seat – paraphrased using nicer terms.

On the issue of Political Correctness; I am sorry here but some people are offended by truth – I’ve never seen a liar not offended by the truth. My God calls me to speak the truth – If that puts me in jail so be it. Political Correctness does not work.

Harry Reid and his oath to protect the Constitution

Reid is building a preponderance of constitutional challenges to his senate bill.

The language he inserted into the bill to make his senate the most powerful senate ever in history and if it stands the more powerful than any senate in the future.

Bill Says Future Congresses Cannot Repeal Parts of the Senate Bill

Page 1020

“it shall not be in order in the senate or the house of representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment, or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection.”

Now Reid may push then into law without even a 2/3 vote -

Unconstitutional Procedure Being Used to Pass Unconstitutional ObamaCare

House leaders are preparing to ram through ObamaCare this week without a vote. Not only is the legislation unconstitutional, but the process being used to pass it is unconstitutional. The House is preparing a rule that would consider the Senate-passed version of ObamaCare passed in the House even though members would never directly vote on it. That would violate Article 1, Section 7 of the U.S. Constitution.

And their is the limit of the power of the Federal Government declared in the bill of rights. While citizens may not be able to take on the resources of the Federal Government. The founders saw the States as a way to check Federal Tyranny.

Virginia Passes Law Against Federally Mandated Health Insurance

Five democrat lawmakers in the democratically controlled Virginia Statehouse crossed party lines to vote for a bill banning the federal mandate on health insurance in the state of Virginia. Gov. Bob McDonnell is planning on signing this bill, and 35 more states either have legislation on the books or bills in process right now to stop Obamacare on an individual state basis.

RE: Glenn Beck, Jeremiah Wright’s Good works are defendable, Not his “Social Justice” services.

As a dad, I know the joy of a family, and I know the pain of a family when there is discord and members work against each other. I know the love a father has for his children, and his son. I do not know the pain of sacrificing ones son – I do not think I could bear it, nor do I know the pain of discord in the body of the Church felt by our father – Who’s love is so great.

The defense for Jeremiah Wright is his 30 years of good works, not his God D— America Church service. A Christian should not sit in a Church building quietly while such statements are being made – using God name to curse does not Glorify God. Good works in the name of Jesus do. His need for defense came about because the primary race brought him into the public discord. Jeremiah Wright was not going after political ambitions or political power, he was not working as a political figure to pushing a political agenda; He was not involved in changing the policies of the Federal Government – Disagreement with yes, involvement with the President no.

Glenn Beck recently made comments about Social Justice; From the context it is clear he was thinking of Jeremiah Wright, he clearly used Wright’s name; But a quotation out of context can be made. I would go farther than Glenn and say if services do not educate or glorify God then one should look for other services.

Exodus 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before me”

If the services glorify the state, look for another service. I did not say if a service honors good works of the state one should leave, that would be a twisting of the my statement. If God was glorified by an action of the state, those involved should receive praise and the glory is to God.

If the services glorify the leadership, look for another service.  It would again be a twisting to say that leaders who glorify God should not be praised. But when one places leadership hand and hand equal to God that is the process that creates cults.

If the services glorify a type of political system or a carnal system, not God, Look for another service.  It would be a twisting of my words to say that holding up our country as one country under god means one should leave. No we are a country under God. We live in the world which is under God. Or a twisting to say discussing the roles of business, government, marriage means Glorifying the system.

If the services do not match scripture – are not true – look for another service. By all means bring this to the attention of who is giving the service.

As For Me And My House We Will Serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15

Regarding Social Justice:

I am not against the co-opting of the term; If the term is co-opted to mean eternal justice (which is created by God) then the service would glorify God – All of God’s children are priceless. If the term is co-opted to mean giving charity to God’s children that would glorify and be obedient to God. But the term has not successfully been co-opted – The meaning of the term by the person who coined it,  (made very clear by wikipedia and many dictionaries), is a political system where the work done by one person is the same as the work done by another and all work merits the same pay. One does not need to ask God in prayer if such a statement is true;  Social Justice dictates all seeds bear fruit without regard to what choice of seed that was planted. Not true if you work to sow weeds you reap weeds. Anyone with any sense looking at just a single person over a course of days can see that the work and effort done is not the even the same by the same person.  Social justice has never produced fruit, many nations have tried it. It was planted by Jim Jones, the results were tragic.

I say with the knowledge of the pain of family discord – with love and truth – that I can not defend Jim Wallis’s actions as Christ like. Unlike Jeremiah Wright, He has taken another Christian’s comments out of context, and (unlike Jeremiah Wright) has used them to create discord in the body of the church by claiming Beck is an anti-christian, and against even Beck’s own Church. He is a political figure who is involved with the Federal Government working for a worldly political destination. Unlike Wright, he is the provoker who is creating the discord. He has taken his distortions to the press and to people who have a history of anti-christian propaganda. Glenn’s actions more closely resemble Christs than do Jim’s

Jim Wallis vs thou shalt not bear false witness

I am not a legalist / moralist the moral doctrine is a false doctrine that has never saved a soul. It is a doctrine that one can earn his way to heaven by works. Jesus taught all have fallen short of the glory of God – salvation is by faith. A moral doctrine sounds good (would make people do the right thing) but it is not scriptural; I yield to God, he is the master.

That being said does not mean we are to ignore the commandments of God or that just having knowledge of God is enough. The devil believes in God but rejects God. I can not see into another mans heart – but surely Wallis knows God’s Ninth Commandment: Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness. And surely he knows Matthew 18 about leading another to sin.

It is troubling if he had political motives for changing the word righteousness to justice in his sermons. I do not know the circumstances of this. But intentionally bearing false witness – destroys his testimony and leads people away from the truth – how can people believe what he says. He if he does not honestly repeat what others have said.

The miss statements are documented here:
What did Glenn Beck really say about ’social justice’?

… Many are hammering Beck for saying, “Am I advising people to leave their church? Yes!” A closer read of what he said shows he followed that quip with, “If I am going to Jeremiah Wright’s church. If you have a priest that is pushing social justice, go find another parish.”

Beck didn’t say Christians should abandon their religion. He recommended shopping around to find a more conservative parish if one is dissatisfied with hearing left-wing sermons. Nothing new about that. In the Catholic Church, there are priests who are stridently left-wing and stridently right-wing; many parishioners shop accordingly. Protestants shop by leaving one denomination for another. And so on. …

Taxing A Recession, New Taxes in Budget, New Taxes in Healthcare, Record Debt and Government Spending.

You can not spend your way out of a recession has been said enough times that now Obama may just consider it a “talking point.” Reducing the cost of health care for seniors has also become an old talking point of the 2008 elections. Now taxing a recession is becoming a talking point.

The realities that increasing costs for businesses to hire employees will make them not hire employees has escape those who have faith in their President; They need to place their faith in God not Obama.
