In God Not the Dollar we trust

The love of money is a sin. Money is a tool for economic trade which can be used for both good and bad. If there was no currentry free people would exchange product – perhaps use a common commodity as money such as gold.

At the movie post there is a video Money as Debt which explains our current money supply and its current status as a promissory note or an instrument of debt. The information in the video is not new, but the problem with the dollar still remains. It needs to be understood by those who do not want to be caught in the collapse of the dollar.

Understanding the actual debt money creation, which is the dollar, is a game changer. One may, as they understand how our debt exceeds the total amount of money, have a change of heart about the dollar.

Why people who trust in the media get it wrong so often

In order to make informed judgment one must be informed. The main stream media often ignores stories that do not promote the worldview that they have or desire. Yet it is a basic concept of journalism to inform.

I often consider what is “popular news,” one thing that comes to mind is popular news is news that effects a lot of people. Storms in California that cause interruptions to activities of millions of people would be a popular news story. A parade in a city would be a popular story within that city. Actions in Washington that change the life style of Americans and effect and commerce of the US would be a popular story. Overturning Roe vs Wade would have an impact on millions another example of a popular news story.

There are many stories that the main stream media just does not report … the change in political physiology of Massachusetts was nearly missed … The millions who demonstrate against abortion.

Now the worldwide political implosion of the global warming alarmist is taking place and those who rely and trust main stream media are in the dark. If people were polled about what countries support taking action those who say watch CNN would get it very wrong.

American Thinker has interested information about this implosion:

Global warming science implodes overseas: American media silent

The revelations have been nothing short of jaw dropping. Dozens – yes dozens – of claims made in the IPCC 2007 report on climate change that was supposed to represent the “consensus” of 2500 of the world’s climate scientists have been shown to be bogus, or faulty, or not properly vetted, or simply pulled out of thin air.

We know this because newspapers in Great Britain are doing their job; vetting the 2007 report item by item, coming up with shocking news about global warming claims that formed the basis of argument by climate change advocates who were pressuring the US and western industrialized democracies to transfer trillions of dollars in wealth to the third world and cede sovereignty to the UN.

Glaciergate, tempgate, icegate, and now, disappearing Amazon forests not the result of warming, but of logging. And the report the IPCC based their bogus “science” on was written by a food safety advocate according to this Christopher Booker piece in the Telegraph :

This is course just one issue … the major media corporations have been filtering the news across many social issues. Many times trying to paint a Christian worldview as an “extremist” out of the main stream world view (like how they portray Palin). Look with an eye for what viewpoint they have and one can see a secular progressive bent. Little do those who trust the media realise is that Palin is one of the most popular political figures to normal Americans. Normal being that which is norm. They may if asked say Reid is popular slowly say yes (although they know he will face a difficult if not impossible reelection), LOL he is not even popular in his own state.

Majority of States Working on Personhood Amendments

Hat Tip: Dakota Voice

Three additional states have taken up the “personhood” cause in a push to guarantee the constitutional rights of the preborn.

Iowa, Virginia and Kansas are now among more than 30 states pursuing personhood amendments – a move pro-lifers view as their best chance of ending abortion in the U.S.

“Personhood is a revolution of the pro-life movement,” said Keith Mason, co-founder of Personhood USA, in a statement. “It challenges what’s been done in the past, stimulates the movement’s present, and eradicates the need for pro-life efforts in the future. Personhood is the best hope to end abortion in America.”

In Kansas, a new pro-life organization – Personhood Kansas – is currently collecting petition signatures to push the state legislature to pass a personhood amendment. The petition is being passed around and promoted among Christians and other pro-lifers across the state.

“As a movement, we know what our goal is: to have all children in the womb protected by love and by law,” states Personhood Kansas. “It is important that we learn the lessons of history and rely on the moral clarity of our God-given moral law to guide our efforts not on demoralizing legal and moral subterfuge.”

Before dismissing efforts at the state level, consider the basic framework of how our system of government works. The state provides an important balance to the federal government, It would be the states that have the power to actually change the constitution.

Prayers for 22 weeks premature in Hannam Village

Hat Tip Prayer Warriors

There is a family in need. Maybe we can help? They are an Army family living at Hannam Village and they do not have a car. Their baby was born over the weekend at 22 weeks (extremely premature)!!!! They are not sure if the baby will make it. The baby had heart surgery this week and is okay for the moment.

The baby is at Samsung hospital and the greatest need the family has is rides to Samsung to visit their baby. I am sure if rides cannot be provided, a meal or any other type of help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Prayers for premature 23 week Emma

Keep Emma in your prays, she was born at 23 weeks, she has gained some weight she is now at 2 lbs. She is on what is considered the edge of viability there is no certainty about her survival. But those involved are working for her life.

My daughter was born 4 weeks for before 9 months. She slept a lot and needed to be wakened to give her food.

Prop 8 trial exposing anti-traditional-marriage deceptions.

Hat Tip Protect Biblical Marriage

Professor Cott first had to concede that she is not a neutral, independent expert as she had been presented for people to believe. In fact, Thompson got her to admit that she is an advocate for gay marriage and has testified in favor of same-sex marriage before legislatures, contributed to groups advocating for gay marriage and signed onto legal briefs in court cases seeking to legalize gay marriage. One of the groups that she has financially supported has openly encouraged polyamory as an alternative to traditional marriage. Polyamorous relationships are those involving three or more people who have a sexual relationship within a ‘group marriage.’

Some additional sources of information:

  • ADFmedia is covering the trial blogging live in real time.
  • Liberty Counsel has already looked at how the outcomes may play out on appeal.
  • Heritage Foundation’s “The Price of Prop 8″ has Reported … Abstract: Supporters of Proposition 8 in California have been subjected to harassment, intimidation, vandalism, racial scapegoating, blacklisting, loss of employment, economic hardships, angry protests, violence, at least one death threat, and gross expressions of anti-religious bigotry. Arguments for same-sex marriage are based fundamentally on the idea that limiting marriage to the union of husband and wife is a form of bigotry, irrational prejudice, and even hatred against homosexual persons. As this ideology seeps into the culture more generally, individuals and institutions that support marriage as the union of husband and wife risk paying a price for that belief in many legal, social, economic, and cultural contexts.

Don’t blink regarding Israel you may miss something

Hat tip: Rapture Alert Turkey Boosts Ties to its Gog-Magog Future

Turkey’s continuing warming of relations with Iran, Syria and Lebanon comes as leading Israeli media have criticized Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon for disparaging the Turkish ambassador to Israel. Ayalon voiced anger at the envoy on Monday over a Turkish soap opera that spread a blood libel against Israel by depicting Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) agents as kidnappers of babies.

And…

Ankara used to be considered a close friend of Israel, an image that officials of the Labor party, headed by Barak, are trying to maintain. Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, a veteran Labor politician, said last month that there is no diplomatic crisis between the two countries despite harsh statements against Israel by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his ministers.

And…

Turkey’s closer military ties with Lebanon follow by two months defense pacts signed with Syria and Iran. Erdogan last October stated that cooperation with the Syria and Iran is important for peace in the Middle East.

During a visit by Erdogan to Iran, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad praised the Turkish Prime Minister for his “clear stance against the Zionist regime.” Turkey also has signed military pacts with Syria and held a joint military drill with its army shortly after canceling the annual military exercise in which Israel participated.

California Prop 8 to make headlines again.

Seems the anti Prop 8 want to try to play the “hate” card.

Hat Tip: Ruth Institute Blog: The Case Against Ted Olson

… I happened to know about this because I received a subpoena from Boies’ office. I was a consultant to the Prop 8 campaign. I have not the slightest concern that anyone will find any evidence of hatred hidden in my correspondence. My views are all over the internet. It is the pettiness of Olsen and Boies I find revolting. . . . No court in the land should have the authority to look over the shoulders of campaign managers and voters to see if their motives pass some ideological litmus test.

The motives of the seven million Californians who voted Yes on 8 are irrelevant. The election was about adding 14 words to the California Constitution. The entire state of California knew perfectly well what those words were. The point of the campaign was to discuss the likely impact of those words. Olsen and Boies don’t like what the voters decided. Sorry. Self-government is about abiding by the results of lawful elections, whether you like the outcome or not. …

Post trial the proceeding will be published on Youtube against the petitions of (the pro prop 8 counsel) who fear attacks against people who only wish to speak the truth… .

This video is a product of the anti prop 8 campaign … clearly slandering the Mormon church. Needless to say their predictions of a post prop 8 California were false.

… While the anti prop 8 seems to be using the court to go fishing for a witch hunt. And, want to get potentially riot inducing information out in the Public. The actual criminal activities were from their side …

Hat Tip Holycoast: Follow-up – More Prop 8 Vandalism

… FULLERTON – Vandals used gold spray paint to scrawl anti-Proposition 8 messages on commercial and residential buildings in the downtown and east Fullerton over the weekend, police said.

The “Prop H8TE” message was found on the Bank of America and Union Bank on north Harbor Boulevard, and on a retail store in the 500 block of north Harbor. Additional tagging was found on houses near Dorothy Lane.

Sgt. Mike MacDonald said anyone caught causing more than $400 in damages is subject to one year in state prison or county jail – and $10,000 in fines. Suspects who are caught causing less than $400 in damages could be charged $1,000 and spend one year in county jail.

In addition to the spray-paint vandalism, 500 “Yes on 8″ signs valued at $10 apiece were reported missing throughout the city by a Yes on 8 community organizer, MacDonald said.

At least one resident in the city is using a night-vision camera to catch sign vandals, police said. The homeowner told police he captured images of a woman stealing signs.

“While we respect people’s rights to have an opinion on state politics, it’s never appropriate to deface property to further their own beliefs,” MacDonald said. “We treat this type of crime very seriously.

“Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” he said.

A resident in the northeast section of the city reported late Monday morning that his property was also defaced with gold paint.

“I’ve lived in the city for 18 years, and I’ve never had anything like this,” Randy Reece said.

“It’s ironic the purveyors of tolerance seem to not have any respect for the First Amendment and it’s disgusting,” Reece said. “I’d like to have a discussion with them if they want to.”

Vandalism should be reported to the Fullerton Police Department at 714-738-6715. …

One of two headlines post Obama State of the Union

Obama ran on the selling point that he was going to end bipartisanship in Washington. He was going to bring all parties to the table … Abortion was not an issue he was going to dictate to the American people; People would have a voice in any health care reforms; even lobbiests would be at the table.

Obama’s State of the Union address may be an opportunity to return to the direction that the voters wanted. Obama will either let the opportunity pass or he will use it. However either direction will have a price … The support for his actions comes from a minority, which is not luke warm for their goals they will be upset if he throws them under the bus.

Obama betrays base

… Obama stated he will not push for nationalized control of health care and will allow states to decide on coverage such as single payer and abortion. …

or

Obama out of touch with the American people

… Obama continues to force an unwanted health care plan which includes cuts for seniors and abortion on demand. …

One way or another Obama will reap what he has sown
