    Taking a closer look at Pennsylvania Democratic Primary. This will be a closed Primary, which means Independents and Republicans wont by voting in it. Based on 2004 turnout the size of the normaly primary is 789,882 voters, there may have been some growth in that number from 4 years ago but it is a good starting point to match the polling data to a projected national popular vote. Looking at 2004 polling data, the polling data started to become firm about 30 days out.
